ScholarHub is an Android app that aggregates publicly available scholarship, fellowship and grant announcements and links to the original publishers. It is developed and operated by Faruk Olasco ("we").
We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email, contacts, location or files.
If you turn on New scholarships, the app subscribes your device to a Firebase Cloud Messaging topic (worldwide or one region) so we can notify you when new opportunities are added (at most twice a day). Firebase assigns your device an anonymous push token; we do not store it and cannot identify you from it. Deadline reminders are scheduled entirely on your phone and never leave it. Both can be switched off at any time under 🔔 Notifications in the app or in your phone's notification settings. We do not use Firebase Analytics.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and other data to show relevant ads, as described in Google's advertising policy. Users in the EEA/UK are asked for consent via Google's consent form. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.
Listings link to external websites (universities, governments, publishers). Their privacy practices are their own.
The service is intended for users aged 18 and over.
We hold no personal data about you. Uninstalling the app removes all data stored on your device and stops all notifications. For any question or request, email us; we respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy; the latest version is always available at this address.
